Justice Stephen G. Breyer, the 108th Supreme Court Justice since 1994 according to The Oyez Project*, once said:
"But once the person is selected, at that point that person is independent" and that being "Independence doesn't mean you decide the way you want" but that it "... means you decide according to the law and the facts".
How true is that!
