Prepaid airtime customers ripped-off in South Africa

At corner Moretlwa Street and Mmupudu Sgl, Ext 6, Mamelodi East, South Africa – there is a notice addressed to prepaid airtime customers that read: “all prepaid airtime of Vodacom, MTN and Cell C will rise by R1.00 after 20H30.”

Is this fair to consumers?

Isn’t this a day-light consumer rip-off?
Prepaid airtime of all service providers in the country, South Africa – have indicated that airtime will be sold at a reasonable price in certain retail stores like Pep Store, Pick n Pay and Shoprite.

What should consumers do when they find themselves in this kind of situation as far as consumer rights, protection and law in South Africa are concerned?
